"Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught..." Colossians 2:7
Our week-long summer day camp for PK-6th Grade children, held the second week of July (July 8-12, 2019), is a fun event that includes music, games, skill-building activity choices, and digging into God’s Word together, among other things.
This year, we will be taking our kids on a sky high adventure as we discover who Jesus is. Kids will have an opportunity to participate in exciting activity tracks (art, building/gardening, dance, discovery science, outdoor games, and music) while having fun with their friends and learning about Jesus. Cost is $35 per child, which includes a t-shirt, snack each day and the family lunch on Friday.

We partner with families to create a loving, safe and authentic community where children can grow to believe and trust in the love of Jesus and develop a life-long relationship with God.
Children are receiving confusing messages from all around them. Sierra Kids is a place where your child can develop a strong foundation and meaningful friendships that roots their identity in the love of Jesus.
We love and value kids at Sierra Presbyterian Church (just like Jesus did!) and it is our goal to have that be evident in all areas of our children’s ministry. We strive to provide a warm and safe environment where your child will be known, loved, and engaged in fun and relevant ways. We desire to partner with you to strengthen your child’s relationship with Jesus and to help them discover the unique plan and purpose that God created them for.
Our Children's Ministry Safety Policy & Procedures can be seen here.

Our Sierra Kids Sunday morning classes provide fertile ground for your child to discover who God is and what that means to them. Our screened volunteer team will help your child know that they are known and that they belong.
Birth to Three-Years-Old: Our nursery is open during both the 9am Traditional service and the 10:30am Contemporary service and is staffed by our Childcare Director and a volunteer.
Pre-K/Kindergarten & Elementary: At the 10:30 Contemporary service, families begin the service in the Sanctuary together. After the first set of worship songs, the children are invited to attend their Sierra Kids’ classes. The classrooms are located downstairs in Rooms E & F. Please check in at the Sierra Kids check-in area.
Quiet Activity Boxes are located by the check in desk if your child would like to use one while they are in the Sanctuary. Your child is always welcome to stay in the service with you as well. We do not have Sierra Kids classes during the 9am Traditional service, but the boxes are always available.
FRIENDS + FAITH = FUN!!
Sierra Kids Club kids gather with their friends
for fun and faith-building activities:
Music, interactive lessons, games, crafts and more!
During the school year, Sierra Kids Club is offered the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 5:30-7pm. Here, your Pre-K through 5th Grade child will have an opportunity to grow roots through intentional and creative friendship, spiritual, compassion, and gift-building activities. Childcare for young children is offered for families that are attending the Gathering, which meets at the same time.
For first-time visitors, please find our Registration form at the bottom of this page.
We believe that your upper Elementary child’s faith will flourish through intentional, discipling relationships and opportunities to serve their community. Your student can be paired with an adult mentor buddy and given an opportunity to connect with them through our Climbing Higher Discipleship classes (four weeks of diving into a specific topic, like prayer or sharing our faith) that are offered twice a year in the Fall and Spring.
Also, on the first Sunday of the month, our upper Elementary students are invited to serve as Greeters (greet, pass out bulletins, take the offering) and also to participate in our Communion celebration.
Hang tight while we prepare your form...
