MEN'S MINISTRY
Our men’s ministry programs are for seekers, new believers, and for men who already know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Men are encouraged to participate in small groups, bible studies, men’s mentoring, and to attend the Annual Men’s Retreat. SMALL GROUPS
There are multiple men’s small groups in SPC.
Each week there are groups who regularly meet on Tuesday mornings from 6:30-8am (please contact Mike for location), and another group on Thursday mornings from 9-10:45am in Hatcher. Other groups meet on a regular basis in Lake Wildwood and Alta Sierra. Each group welcomes men who want to grow in their knowledge, understanding, and desire to experience a growing intimate relationship with God. Each uses the Bible and/or devotional books to focus on scripture and prayer to help men grow to be more like Christ in their character and to be Godly men in their respective families and in the community.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Each Tuesday, a group of men meet in (please email mike for location) at 6:30am to study the Bible, pray, and enjoy fellowship with other men from Sierra Pres and the community. Coffee and a continental breakfast is also provided.
MEN’S MENTORING
At times, men are called by God to bless other men in a one-on-one relationship. Life storms can be lonely and certain men have a gift or calling to come along other men to listen and be a source of encouragement. At Sierra Pres, there are men who are already trained and waiting for the opportunity to be used by God to bless other men. In other cases, there are men who are called to make a difference in another man’s life who needs training. Is God calling you to be a mentor or to mentor someone else?
